You are welcome to the Men’s Class of Degtyarniye Baths!

 

 

“Degtyarniye Baths” is a complex of baths and saunas, designed for those who appreciate the healthful relaxation in a luxurious atmosphere. Here you can forget about the everyday worries and dive into the world of bliss and insouciance.

 

 

“Degtyarniye Baths” is a real Russian sauna with a long history and old traditions in the very heart of St. Petersburg.

 

 

You will be washed, given a birch twig massage and presented with energy and good spirits here!

 

The Men’s Class has a traditional Russian Banya (steam room), a Turkish Bath, a Massage and Soap Area, a Bar with drinks and excellent home-style cuisine, Changing and Relaxation Rooms seating 4—10 people, a Classic Massage Cabinet, a Solarium, a Wax Cabinet and Toilets.

 

A few simple steps and rules to enjoy your experience in Degtyarniye Baths:

 

1. Our receptionist will tell you whether there are any vacant hours and show you to the Relaxation room where you will be brought some sheets by the receptionist’s assistant. Clean rubber slippers can be found in your personal locker in the Relaxation Room.

 

2. You can leave your clothes and belongings in the Changing Room and take only bathing accessories with you. You can leave all your valuables (jewelry, keys and documents) in the safe at reception.

 

3. The Soap Area has two entries — near and far. The Toilets are at the end of the corridor on the right hand of the far entry.

 

Remember that you must not enter the Soap Area with drinking glasses, cups and glass bottles.

 

On the right hand of the entrance you can find 4 showers.

 

On the left hand of the entrance you can find a Charcot shower system (can be used only in the presence of a specialist).

 

Go straight ahead and you will find yourself at the Soapy Massage Area. Choose from the treatments available here: a soapy massage, a body scrub massage and a birch twig massage, body, head and face massages, a coffee scrub.

 

Behind the Massage Area is a spacious sauna.

 

Next room is a Great Russian Banya and a swimming pool with cold circulating water and showers. Before entering the Russian Banya take a felt hat from the window sill on the left and wear it to protect your head from overheating. On your right you will see the veniks (bunches of dried branches and leaves) which will be selected by our expert at your request.

 

4. The Bar with drinks and food is in front of the near entry to the Soap Area. Our Bar always has cold beer of different varieties and a TV.

 

5. A horizontal Solarium is located near the Bar.

 

Our friendly receptionists and upscale professionals will help you to choose the treatment that is best for you.

 

After all the procedures have a rest in the soft armchairs of our bar or in your room with a cup of herbal tea or a glass of fresh juice. It will be a great finale and will make you completely happy!
